どのキャリアーの端末になるか分からないが、MotorolaはLinux採用のトライバンド(GSM/GPRS/EDGE)対応携帯電話を発表した。いわれる「UMA」(Unlicensed Mobile Access)にも対応している。UMAは携帯ネットワークと(自宅・オフィスなどの)WiFiネットワーク間に通話を自動的に切り替える技術。従って、Bluetooth機能と無線LAN機能に加えて、320 x 240ドットの液晶ディスプレイ、130万画素のデジカメ、TransFlashスロット、「複数のオーディオコーデック」を再生できるメディアプレイヤーソフトを搭載し、BluetoothでステレオオーディオをストリーミングにするA2DPにもう対応する。
