無負荷で発電する「マジ軽」自転車ライト

LED自転車ガジェットは見逃さないEngadget Japaneseから、今度は(ほぼ)無負荷で発電する自転車用LEDライト。

一般的な自転車用ライトのようにタイヤに直接ダイナモを接触させるのではなく、前輪のスポークに取り付けた磁石がライト(コイル)の横を通過することで発電する方式。なので(比較的)負荷がなく音も静かなのが特徴。

発光させるには15km/h程度の速度が必要。またバッテリーを内蔵しているわけではないので漕ぎ終わると2、3秒で消灯。

白色LEDを三個使用したAKW-1000モデルが3480円、コイル(発電部)とライトを別に設置できる&高輝度LED使用の上位モデルAKW-3000は4480円で販売中。
