なんでも追跡システムLoc8tor続報

探したい物(や人)に小さなタグを取り付ければ150メートル圏内で追跡・発見可能というデバイスLoc8torですが、以前紹介した時点では不明だった詳細が(ちょっとだけ)明らかに。タグは写真のように切手サイズで、本体は同時に24個までのタグを認識できるとのこと。

またタグには人間用の「パニックボタン」がついていて、押すとLoc8tor本体に信号を送ることもできるらしい。技術的にどんな方法を採用しているのか、電池寿命などはあいかわらず不明ですが価格はひとつ$99.00、パニックボタンつきは$169.99 (タグひとつの値段？)。実機はCESにて展示されるとのことですが、やっぱりゲームアプリケーションが楽しそうです。
