OSx86プロジェクト強制終了？

Mac OS Xをアップル製以外のx86マシンで動かそうというプロジェクトOSx86はつい先日OS X 10.4.4用のパッチを公開するところまで進みましたが、やはりJobs聖下の逆鱗に触れ法的措置を警告する手紙が届いたため現在Forumを閉鎖中とのこと。

フォーラム以外の部分は（あまり危険な情報はないものの）生きており、フォーラムも今後の対応が決定するまでオフラインという扱いになっているものの、アップルのライセンスを気にしないでいい方法を考えない限り今後おもてでプロジェクトを進めるのは難しくなった模様です。これで「OS Xのイメージ＋パッチ」や誰でも簡単に使えるインストーラがBitTorrentで共有されるまでの時間が数日か数週間くらいは伸びたんじゃないでしょうか。
