ステレオ立体視シューティング

一見ただの砂嵐画面、焦点をずらすと奥行きが見えてくる「シングルイメージ・ランダムドットステレオグラム」SIRDで3DシューティングQuake IIをレンダリング。SIRDを立体視できる人なら本物のリアルタイム3DでFPSができます。

なんとか立体視できます。リンク先のフルサイズ画像のほうが楽ですが、コツは画面下左寄りの自分の武器をまず見ようとすること。画面中央の奥行きは予測しづらいのですが手前の武器を見てから視線をずらずと全部見渡せます。

クエイクIIをインストールしていなくてもリンク先のリンクからデモ版を落とせばリアルタイム立体視を体験可能。実際に試してみると、テクスチャが空も床も武器もすべて砂嵐になった世界が異様に鮮明に見えてきます。自分の脳に変な体験をさせるのが好きな人にはかなりお薦めですが、モノクロの砂嵐しか映ってない画面を焦点のあっていない眼で見つめているところを目撃されないように注意しましょう。
