Blu-ray対HD-DVD戦争を終わらせる「ウルトラマルチ」ドライブ？

CeBITで囁かれている噂によると、Blu-rayとHD-DVDのどちらにも対応する"Ultra-Multi"ドライブが今年末から来年初頭にも登場する(かもしれない)とのこと。

LGが今年春に予定していたBlu-rayプレーヤの発売を中止して秋にもコンボデバイスを出すらしいという話はしばらく前にありましたが、この"Ultra-Multi"がLGの商品名なのか、Blu-ray/HD-DVDコンボ一般の名称なのか(あるいはそれ以外なのか)も不明。価格さえなんとかなれば両対応に越したことはないのですが、ただでさえ高いライセンス料を二重に払わせられるのもばかばかしい話です。
