磁性流体ディスプレイでゲーム

磁性流体(磁界に反応する液体)を使ったディスプレイでゲームをプレイする「Snoil」。手に持ったディスプレイ全体を傾けて古典的なスネークゲーム(エサを食べると体が伸びるあれ)をプレイできます。プレイ中の動画(mov, .h264)もあり。ベルリンUniversiy of Artsの学生Martin Frey氏制作のプロジェクト。

プルプル震えながら盛り上がる「ディスプレイ」は大変きもちわるくてよろしいのですが、せっかく磁性流体を使っているのにゲーム内容ははっきりデジタルなのが残念。次は児玉幸子さんの磁性流体アートくらい複雑な磁界ゲームに期待したいところです。
