MacBookをライトセーバーにするMacSaber

インストールするだけでMacBook (Pro)をジェダイの武器ライトセーバーにするソフトMacSaberが登場。といっても光刃が伸びるわけではなく、ハードディスク保護用のモーションセンサを利用して「マックをぶんぶん振り回すと」あの作動音がするというもの。Readリンク先isnoopさんのサイトで落とせます。


もちろん単なるon/offではなく、ちゃんと加速に応じてそれらしいライトセーバー音が鳴るようになっています。ウィンドウにはSMS(センサー)の数値も表示。


効果がやや疑わしいモーションセンサー盗難アラームiAlertUや非実用的な傾き入力系ソフトどころか脳内ジェダイごっこ・シスごっこのほか何の役にも立ちませんが、数値を読めば机がどれくらい傾いているかくらいは分かります。夢中になってMacBookを投げないように注意。
