新eMacが9月登場？

おなじみ噂系サイトAppleInsiderによると、以前CRT一体型で販売されていたものの忘れられつつある教育機関向けデスクトップeMacの新型が今年9月にも登場する可能性が高いとのこと。今回はさすがにCRTではなく現行iMacのような液晶ディスプレイ一体型になるようです(なので上の想像図はあまり気にしないでください)。

そのほか予想されるスペックはインテルCore Soloにチップセット統合グラフィックなど、つまりはiMacの廉価版の位置づけ。eMacは教育機関以外にも販売されていた時期がありましたが、今回はE for Educationのかけ声通り一般向けには提供されない見込みのようです。
