個人用降下翼システムGryphon

ドイツの軍需企業ESGが開発する個人用降下翼/パラシュートシステム「グリフォン」。ご覧の通り背負い式グライダーのようなもので、従来の落下傘やハンググライダーより高速かつ長距離を移動できるのが特長。輸送機を飛びだしてから最大200km先まで到達できるため特殊部隊の侵入などに用いられるとのこと。酸素ボンベをはじめ各種のオプション装備が用意されており、小型ジェットエンジンの搭載も計画中(前後前+P or Kで突進)。

いくらなんでもドイツに対する偏ったイメージそのままなので冗談かと思いましたが本物のようです(ベルリン航空ショー2006のサイト)。壁に張りついたり大砲で発射されたり羽根しょって飛び降りたり特殊部隊の人も本当に大変ですね。
