"Mac Pro"はこんなデザイン？

来月のWWDCでお披露目される(らしい)Mac ProはCore 2 Duo搭載で筐体デザインも一新される(らしい)とお伝えしましたが、Apple Insiderによると新デザインは現在のPowerMac G5とほとんど変わらないようです。

AIの情報によれば最大の変化は前面の光学ドライブスロットが2つになり、ひとつは空きのまま提供されること。あとからBlu-ray (またはHD DVD)を入れて使うのが前提です。もうひとつは電源の位置が現在の筐体下部からよりスタンダードなPCに近い上に移動すること。

一新ではなくマイナーチェンジでちょっと残念な気もしますがまだ未確定情報。キューブに取り憑かれた男がまた珍妙な金魚鉢を作ってくれるかもしれません。
