LG、Blu-ray / HD DVDコンボプレーヤの開発をキャンセル

CE ProがLGのマーケティング部門VP Bob Perry氏の言葉として伝えているところによると、LGは当初発表していたBlu-ray / HD DVDハイブリッドプレーヤの開発をキャンセルしてBlu-rayプレーヤを発売するとのこと。

去年の段階では2006年春にBlu-rayプレーヤを発売すると発表、今年三月になってやっぱりハイブリッド機を出しますといっていたLGですが、二転して結局Blu-rayだけのプレーヤに落ち着いたようです。新プレーヤについては今後発表されるとだけあって詳細不明。
