舐めるコントローラ

Yahoo University Design Expoで発表された「舐めるロリポップコントローラ」。Yahoo Design Expoは1990年から当初はApple主催、途中からYahooが引きついで開催している由緒正しいイベントで、アートとテクノロジーを融合させた作品を募り才能の発掘を云々という主旨の通り毎年わけの分からないものが多数発表されているようです。

Erin Elliott氏の"Edible Controller"はハート型の棒キャンディにセンサーが組み込まれたもの。舐めることでなぜか赤ん坊型のロボットを前進させて競争します。キャンディの軸には光センサが取り付けてあり、舌でぺろぺろ舐めるだけでなく激しく出し入れすることで加速するとのこと。
