ポータブルファミコンnPodやN64P、PPS2を手掛けた家庭用ゲーム機Modの巨匠BenHeckによる、最新にしておそらく最高傑作。究極のXbox 360ポータブルが欲しいという依頼者のために三カ月の製作期間を経て完成したのはノート型カスタムアルミケースに1280×720ワイド液晶を搭載した「Xbox Laptop 360」。

ただ薄めのケースに詰め直して液晶をくっつけただけではなく、カスタムキーボードにWiFiも搭載、しかもあの~~巨大電源ユニットを内蔵した上に~~水冷システムに換装しています。手前にはちゃんとXbox 360のシンボル(？)の四分割緑色リングも搭載。

世界の巨匠に数か月掛けた大作を依頼するといくらになるのかは想像するほかありませんが、発熱がすごいマシンを~~電源ユニットごと~~省サイズ化する技術は圧倒的。ソニーはPLAYSTATION3の小型化＆値下げ前にBen様に相談してみるといいんじゃないでしょうか。

追記：PSUはやっぱり外付け、液晶モニタの電源と一体化させたのでケーブルが一本ということのようです。コメントありがとうございます。教訓：ソースは最後まで読め。

電源ユニットは内臓されていないようです。

また、水冷を動かすためと思われる4Pの電源供給も必須の模様。
