Linksys WRT350N：ドラフトNギガビットルータ&メディアサーバ

Linksysが無線ルータの新機種"WRT350N Wireless-N Gigabit Router with Storage Link"を発表。いわゆるドラフトNこと802.11nのドラフト版規格に基づいたもので、通信速度はLinksysいわく「802.11gの最大12倍」。有線ギガビットスイッチも内蔵します。

名前後半の"Storage Link"は外付けHDDやフラッシュメモリを接続できるUSB 2.0ポートのこと。ネットワークストレージとしては音楽や動画といったファイルをUPnP対応のクライアント機器にストリーミングできるメディアサーバ機能も搭載。

登場時期は「Coming Soon」。価格は$120程度。日本リンクシスから発売されるかどうかは不明。MIMOの凶々しいアンテナにうっとりしそうです。
