Cheoptics360：空中に浮かぶ360度映像

オランダで開発された、360度どこからでも観られる中空ディスプレイ。逆さにしたピラミッド型のフレームに四台のプロジェクタを配した構造で、空中に半透明の像が浮かんだように見えます。

ただ、上と枠部分を除いて周囲どこからでも観ることができるといっても、投影される映像そのものは二次元なのでいわゆる「 3Dディスプレイ」ではありません。(動画ではなかなか止まった画を投影しないので分かりにくいものの、像に奥行きはないように見える)。



本体のサイズは1.5メートルから30メートルまでスケールでき、建物の天井から吊すこともできるとのこと。まあ立体映像ではないとしても、イベント用のどこからでも観られるスクリーンとしては有効そうです。
