SpecTecからmicroSDスロット搭載のSDIO GPSレシーバ

台湾Spectecから、SDIOスロット対応のミニGPSレシーバSDG-810が登場。他社製と比較して小さめなサイズもさることながら、一番の特徴は本体にmicroSDスロットを搭載していること。

ストレージの限られたPDAやスマートフォンではSDIOデバイスで拡張すると今度はメモリカードが使えなくなるのが悩みの種でしたが、SDG-810は2GBまでのmicroSDを(同時に？)使用できるとのこと。

リンク先にはGPSチップ(SiRF Star III)やPalm / Pocket PC / "SmartPhone"サポートといった詳細があるものの価格・登場時期は不明。GPSなしデバイスユーザには気になる製品です。
