Wii ポータブル完成！

誰かがいつかはやるだろうと思われていたWiiのポータブル化がついに実現しました。作者はモバイルXbox 360やニンテンドー64ポータブルも製作したゲーム機ハックの巨匠BenHeckことBenjamin Heckendorn師。年末の数週間を費やして完成したポータブルWiiのスペックは：

7インチ16：9液晶ディスプレイ
ステレオスピーカー
内蔵センサーバー
ACアダプタ内蔵・電源コードを本体に収納可能
外部モニタ用映像・音声出力、外付けセンサーバーポート
サイズは215x195x50mm (純正Wii本体は215x157x44mm。)

バーチャルコンソールやゼルダのようなゲームは7インチ液晶で、多人数プレイは外部の大画面と切り換えて遊べます。Wiiは本体が小さいわりにセンサーバーや大きな電源ユニットなど持ち運びしずらいのが難点ですが、Wiiポータブルなら電源コードまで本体に収納して持ち歩きが可能。BenHeck様本人の解説によるビデオはこちら。
