Wii向けFlashゲーム用の十字キー操作API

「インターネットチャンネル」からアクセスしてWiiで遊ぶFlashゲーム向けに、Wiiリモコンを十字キー+ABボタンのデジタルパッドとして使うAPIが公開されています。提供しているのはWii向けFlashゲームを集めたコミュニティパワードなゲームサイトWiiCade.com。開発者は Jerason Banes氏。

こちらのWiiCade APIを利用すればゲームコントロールにつきものの同時押し判定といった処理に悩まされることなく、比較的簡単にパッド型操作を取り入れることができるとのこと。これまではマウスベースの操作をWiiリモコンのポインタに置きかえたタイプのゲームが多く見られましたが、十字キーで操作するタイプのWii用Flashゲームを考えている方はチェックしてみてください。
