遠隔会議出席ロボGiraffe

HeadThere社の"Giraffe"(キリン)は自立移動能力を持ったビデオ会議ロボ。出先や自宅からオフィスのGiraffeを操作して会議に出席したり同僚を追い回したりできます。目にあたる広角＋8倍ズームカメラと耳にあたるマイク、口部分についている大音量スピーカーのほか、14インチ広視野角液晶画面に顔を映せるのがポイント。

ディスプレイ＋センサーの頭は上下にチルトすることもでき、170センチほどの身長は座った高さに調節することも可能。HeadThereでは$1800から$3000くらいで予約受付中。せっかくいなくなったと思ったらこれで部下を監視するような上司は後ろから忍び寄ってバケツでも被せてやりましょう。
