965本のロケットを同時発射して世界記録達成(動画つき)

5月12日に米国テキサス・オースティンでおこなわれた「1000本のモデルロケットを同時発射してギネスに挑戦」の様子。実際には不発があり1000本のうち965本しか規定の時間内(5秒間)には発射されなかったものの、世界記録の大幅更新には成功したとのこと。

主催はもちろん数千ガロンの塗料を仕込んでビルを爆破したり25万個のカラフルなスーパーボールを坂から落としているソニー BRAVIA......かと思ったらそうではなく、地元のボーイスカウト発案。実写弾幕シューティングのような動画は「続きを読む」のあと。
