サムスン、8GB microSDカードを開発。2008年出荷

プレスリリースによると、サムスンは容量8GB microSDカードの開発に成功したとのこと。転送速度はリード16MB/秒、ライト6MB/秒。リリース文中の表現では「SDHC規格のスピードクラス4を優に上回る」(書き込み6MB/秒を保証するClass 6相当とはいわないらしい)。サムスンのフラッシュ部門マーケティングディレクターJim Elliot氏の言葉を引用しているPC World記事によれば出荷は来年半ば以降、価格については言及なし。
