ビルの外壁をくり抜いてひっくり返すアート

英国リバプールのビルに設置された、というかビルを改造して製作されたアート作品「Turning The Place Over」。「ビルの壁が回転」と聞いても絶対思いつかないとんでもない動きをします。回っているところの動画は「続きを読む」にembed。

作者はアーティストRichard Wilson氏、製作費用は45万ポンド、約1億円。映画や漫画といったフィクションでなにかやばい実験に失敗して危険な世界へのゲートを開いてしまった研究所のような、何の気なしにエイリアン・テクノロジーを始動させて山をくり抜いてしまったような綺麗な切断面がすてきです。正式公開は6月20日から、来年末まで維持されるとのこと。お立ち寄りの際は観光にいらしてはいかがでしょうか。
