iPhoneハック：PCからファイルシステムにアクセス、サービスを起動

電話会社との契約をバイパスしてアクティベーションできるようになったiPhoneですが、各地のWikiやIRCでは着々と研究が進められています。iPhone Dev Wikiで公開されたiPhoneInterfaceはPCからiPhoneに接続、ファイルシステムにアクセスできるというツール。リンク先からWindowsまたはPC版を落とせます。

いまのところ可能なのはディレクトリの参照や作成・削除、デバイスの状態やファイル情報の取得、iPhoneの各種サービス起動など。まだまだできることは限定されているものの、サードパーティソフトの自由な起動という聖杯を発見する道具は揃ってきたようです。
