OLPC XO：$399で「一台寄付して一台ゲット」キャンペーン

OLPCプロジェクトの最初期から構想されてきた「2台分の価格で一般販売、一台買うと世界の子供に一台寄付」がようやく正式に発表されました。OLPCの「Give 1 Get 1」プログラムは$399で開発途上国の子供に一台、もう一台を自分の子(または本人の心の中の少年少女でもプレゼントでも)に購入できるというもの。

開始は11月12日から、短い期間限定のプログラムとして実施されます。興味のあるかたはリンク先からお知らせメールに登録。OLPC Newsによると実施期間は11月12日から26日までの2週間、クリスマスまでに届くのは先着2万5000名らしいとのこと。XO一台分$199の寄付は今でも可能です。
