Asus Eee PCは299ドルから

かけ声は「199ドルノートPC」、でも「コンシューマ向けは$200より上になる」とされてきたAsus Eee PCの北米市場向け価格が正式に発表されました。一番安いの$299のEee PC 2G Surf、構成は2GB SSD / 256MB RAM / カメラなし、2.8時間バッテリー。

最上位のEee PC 8Gは8GB SSD / 1GB RAM / カメラつき / 3.5時間バッテリーで$399。まあ安いと言えば安い、でも衝撃的に安くはない微妙な価格です。台湾本国で発表された価格では2G Surfが7999台湾圓 (約2万8800円)、8Gが13800台湾圓 (約49800円)くらい。次世代モデルは来年4月にも登場予定。
