東芝とソニーがCellプロセッサ生産の合併会社を設立しましたね.端正な技術屋はどんな場合でも、前を向いているようで期待をしてしまいます.話は変わりますが,BDは"Blue"が商標登録できなくて Blu-ray になった経緯があったりだとか,Blueray だと目にいいブルーベリーを意味してしまうとかで,ブルーレイの呼称すら紆余曲折をへて聞こえます.
