SKULLPHONEのデジタル看板「ハッキング」、実は有料広告

18歳のグラフィティ・アーティストSKULLPHONEがLA周辺の広告ディスプレイを乗っ取った！という話題の続報が届きました。第一報のソースsupertouch blogではClear Channelのデジタルビルボードネットワークを「ハックした」とされていましたが、一方Curbed LAによれば、単に1日分の料金を支払って掲載された正規の広告にすぎなかったとのこと。

当事者であるクリアチャンネルからの確認は取れていないものの、結局「あるいはどこかがスポンサーになって枠を購入しただけなのか」というつまらない方の推測そのままのオチになってしまいました。このあとさらに一回くらい予想外の展開が欲しいところです。
