記事は間違っているのではないでしょうか？昔買ったAirMac Extremeのパッケージに11nは最大５倍の速度と書いてありました。調べてみると、wikipediaより--2007年6月には電波法の一部改正が施行され、無線通信にて同時に使用できるバンド幅が従来の20MHzから40MHzに引き上げられた。これによりチャンネルボンディングが可能となり、最大伝送速度の理論値は従来の150Mbpsから300Mbpsに増えた。--とあります。したがって、これ以降の発売されたAirMac Extreameは、最大５倍の通信速度と思われます。
