アマゾン、自社ブランドのアクセサリ AmazonBasics を販売開始

もはや取り扱わないものはない勢いのアマゾンが、今度は自社ブランド製品の販売を開始します。ブランド名はAmazonBasics。プレスリリースいわく「今のところ」ラインアップされているのはCD / DVDのブランクディスク、HDMI / USB / Ethernet / IEEE1394 / RCAコンポーネントの各種ケーブル、HDMI - DVIアダプタなどのAVアクセサリ類。各製品は1年保証付き。製品パッケージと梱包が一体化して簡単に開けられるFrustration-Free Packaging仕様です。

AmazonBasicsはまず米国Amazon.comで、数ヶ月以内には各国版ストアでも販売される予定です。アマゾンで稼いできた周辺機器メーカーは突然の裏切りに困惑しているのではないでしょうか。次はアマゾン製タイツやアマゾン製フリース、それからアマゾン製シューズかもしれません。
