アップル App Storeが20億アプリダウンロード達成、対応端末は5000万台以上

アップル App Store が10億アプリダウンロードを達成してからまた半年も経っていませんが、早くも20億アプリダウンロードが発表されました。公式発表によると現在 App Store に登録されているアプリの数は8万5000本以上。iPhone / iPod touchは77カ国で5000万台以上販売されており、iPhoneデベロッパプログラムには12万5000人以上が登録しています。ジョブズCEOのお言葉は「App Storeはモバイルハンドヘルド端末でユーザーができることを再発明した。私達のユーザーは明らかにこの発明を愛している」。あとはこれを機に好調な収益でまともなアプリ審査官を雇ってくれるといいのですが。
