Just put your friend's name behind the @
To use "mention" in LINE group chats, first type @ in the message field and then the name of the friend you want to send a message to. Type "@" to see a list of friends in the group, then tap to select the name of the person you want to send. Then type a message and send it.
You don't have to put "@" at the beginning of the sentence. you can also mentor multiple people at once.▲Type @ and tap your friend's name (left) Type and send a message (right)
When you are mentored in a group, the message notification says "I was mentored." to let you know that it is for you. Also on the Chats screen, "I was mentored." is displayed, so you can tell at a glance that the message is aimed at you. Friends without an @ will receive a notification without the "I was mentored." sign.▲The notification says "I was mentored." on the left. You can also check the display of "I was mentored." on the Chats screen (right).
