Nintendo Wii has lion's share of female console gamers {Engadget}
Nov 27th 2009 8:56AM Love the anti-Wii/dumb women posts.
But seriously, as a girl, I really struggle to find exclusive games on the PS3 that I actually want to play. However when it comes to the Wii, it's a totally different story.
But the funniest thing is the ability to change the clothing of a character makes a game go from kinda want to really want. I guess some of the games targeted towards girls that throw in that gimmick are working for me...
Joyswag: Wii Fit Plus and a Wii Fit Plus shirt [update] {Joystiq Nintendo}

'Baby and Me' special edition includes Wiimote-ready doll {Engadget}
Nov 2nd 2009 11:00PM Well, I gotta say they're creatively thinking... Even if it's not the /best/ idea, it's a good idea. But the idea is better executed by regular dolls that do all the lifelike stuff.
And please, all the "this makes for more teen moms" stuff is so lame. Before girls started having their own babies, they looked at their moms taking care of babies and wanted to do the same thing and the little girls also babysat too. Y'know, little girls can't get pregnant on their own.
Apple welcomes Windows 7 the only way it knows how, with a new commercial (video, updated) {Engadget}
Oct 22nd 2009 11:20PM Maybe Apple should go to little girls to peddle their products. Kylie, the Microsoft loli, makes me want to buy every version of Windows 7 out there in hopes that I could one day adopt her. If Apple did the same, I'd switch :)
Moneual's MiNEW A10 nettop gets preciously attacked by Hello Kitty {Engadget}
Sep 16th 2009 11:34AM A friend last night was teasing me asking if I would buy a Hello Kitty computer and of course I said heck no (mainly because it would be way overpriced), but looking at this, I think I may have changed my mind.
Microsoft's training materials teach Best Buy employees how to trash Linux {Engadget}
Sep 8th 2009 12:39PM True true they are going towards the average consumer, but I was there once and scared to death to use Linux. I got a netbook with Linux and after more than a year and many tweakings later, I love Linux as much as I love Windows.
I wonder why Microsoft is so scared... of Linux of all things? The average consumer isn't educated enough on how similar Linux can be to Windows superficially to even consider it. Unless Microsoft has noticed how simple Ubuntu is...
Maybe they feel confident up against Apple these days?
