Maybe its a good idea to name a new app some sort of appley type name - then have the apple lawers burst down the door. This is great publicity - for free too. There probably should be banners like the "take back the web" firefox banners in the form of "I was sued by apple" or something. My two yen.
Lets face it - the only reason why they cant cater for mac users is because they do not have the technology to do so. I am in Japan and I laugh every-time I see tons of TV advertisement for a site only to find a "Sorry - please use Windows" message.
Making a site work on the mac is no big deal at all - these companies dont have skilled programmers, software engineers or QA and if you do a HTML validation on W3C, you will notice a ton of bugs too - amateurs.
A collegue of mine at Microsoft was telling me how some top executive sent out flame mail to MS employees to the tune of....
"Why are our employees using ipods? we have a great product which people should be using blah blah"
I think the product he was babbling on about was Windoze Mediocre Player?
iPhoto is the brown stuff that you wipe off your shoe after a stroll through a pig sty.
Indeed iPhoto used to keep crashing for me too - but not anymore because I dont use it. Photo Arena and IView Media are better alternatives where you can create albums.
