Nov 29th 2007 11:33AM Living in China, and was lucky recently to get a low-end widescreen projector for 280 usd - and its just amazing, before I rarely bothered to play any games, but now anytime I have freetime, can't wait to get back to that big screen - Mario Galaxy has something to do with it as well ^.^
Only problem with using a projector with a wii, is the sensorbar is too small, a problem i have overcome by taping two sensorbars together end-to-end and taping over the middle leds.

Nov 6th 2007 1:51PM Looks nice for using with a projector, where you need a wider sensor bar. On the linked page they say a length of 2 feet, but it is not clear if that refers to the wire to the wii, or between the two pieces.
I'm getting my projector in a few days, and was thinking to put two sensor bars together and then taping over the middle diodes, So hope this could be a better solution.

Apr 26th 2007 3:38PM I'm in China but all i can get is jap Wiis so annoying, they got modchips and games are only about 1 dollar, so might consider to pick one up - really want to get opera in english though.

Apr 4th 2007 2:09AM I was in Shanghai 2 days ago, and the Wiis there were priced at 2500 Yuan with a wiikey modchip. So not as big a pricehike as the article would have you believe.
I was so close to buying one, but decided to wait for an american one. I found this page http://ntsc-uk.domino.org/showthread.php?mode=hybrid&t=67936 with translations of some of the menus though - so might take the plunge anyway. Figure don't really need the online stuff too much, and might be able to figure out how to use the japanese opera.
