Lambert's Old Label -- We Got It in Writing! {TMZ}

Jun 25th 2009 6:44AM @Chrissie

What has Adam done to make you think he is full of himself?! He is just rehearsing for the Idols Tour and co-writing material for his album. What is selfish about that? It's not his fault that Hi Fi Recordings is trying to make money off his old recordings and the media is making a big deal about it.

Quween Saves Her 'American Idol' {TMZ}

Jun 7th 2009 9:27AM #33 He dressed in drag for entertainment, fun! You don't see him dressing as a woman daily. I've seen lots of straight people doing cross-dressing for fun. It really isn't a big deal.

American Idol's finale was a flop? {TV Squad}

Jun 7th 2009 2:10AM @Dan

Kris won simply because he automatically acquired Danny Gokey's fans who are generally conservative. These same people do not support Kris by buying his album. In fact, Adam's album is outselling Kris's on Itunes. People made a big deal about Adam's sexuality but Adam made it this far because his talent is undeniable. And his pimping was no more obvious than Archuleta and Cook's were last season.

Is the media ruining Adam Lambert's chances of winning American Idol? {TV Squad}

May 4th 2009 12:05AM To me, Adam Lambert is the new Freddie Mercury. Even Nigel Lythgoe agree with me and publicly compares Adam to Freddie. Whether or not you enjoy him, you’ve got to admit that he stands out from the crowd, much in the same way as Freddie did. He’s got a theatrical flair to his performances, his voice has a crazy range and no matter what he sings, he makes it his own. Some people say Adam is creepy and strande, but some people thought Freddie was creepy and strande as well. That’s not always a bad thing. There will always be the audiences who love something beyond the safe and familiar.

Where's the breakout star on American Idol? {TV Squad}

Apr 28th 2009 11:25AM People should only be complaining if the contestant were well known before entering these shows. However, in the case of Adam Lambert, presumably 99% of AI viewers won't have heard of him until they watched AI. Adam's got a lot of previous experience, but if that disqualifies him then, David Cook shouldn't have competed last year - he's got arguably as much performance experience, and much more recording experence then Adam, yet this wasn't an issue. Kelly also had previous experience, and had been offered record deals before Idol. There's very few winners who don't have performance experience.

Where's the breakout star on American Idol? {TV Squad}

Apr 28th 2009 11:13AM I think you are really underestimating Adam. According to the ITunes popularity, Adam's songs are selling much better than the other contestants. It's not only that he has 6 of the best selling AI itunes, but that Adam's "Mad World" is currently selling more than Kelly's "My life would suck without you" (even when Mad world was relased a few weeks ago, so it's not the first week of impact). Also there is an marketing research article that says Adam is the most searched ITunes contestant (former or current) from Idol. Some people seem to think people aren't interested in buying his songs, but sales tell other story. He's too theatrical? So what?? He's talented enough to earn a living in musical theatre, but it's not what he wants to do now. Any Idol competitor or winner can come from any genre or style. Don't be so closed minded.

'Idol' Top 7 Chat Recap {AOL TV: American Idol}

Apr 15th 2009 8:41AM WTF. Adam was not lipsyncing. He is just a phenomenal singer/performer and in a completely different league than everyone else. Even Simon admits that.

BTW, those TV editors sound like tweens.

Adam Lambert did not sing Tears For Fears' "Mad World" last night - VIDEO {TV Squad}

Apr 9th 2009 10:34AM Gary Jules disagrees with you!

"'Mad World' re-arranger praises Adam Lambert"

Jules, 40, thinks Lambert put a signature spin on his cover-of-a-cover.

"It was fantastic," he says. "He has a beautiful voice. ...
I heard his Michael Jackson cover and I heard some of his other stuff, and I think that he's probably one of the most — if not the most — interesting performer I've ever seen on `American Idol.'"

Adam Lambert did not sing Tears For Fears' "Mad World" last night - VIDEO {TV Squad}

Apr 9th 2009 10:25AM Gary Jules calls Adam Lambert’s cover ‘unique and beautiful’

“He totally understood the vibe of it and the power of it and delivered it in a unique and beautiful way. ...
I think Adam is straight-up the most interesting, for my personal taste, of anyone I’ve ever seen on the show.”

Adam's rendition of "Tracks of My Tears" moved Smokey Robinson to give him a standing ovation. When the original artist gives a performer a standing ovation after
a performance of his song, how do you decide it isn't good? Most of the people who are the most trained in music are the ones who appreciate what Adam does with his voice that few to none in this show have done before,
and that no one else this season can match.

November '08 sales decline blamed on 40GB's successful '07 introduction {Joystiq Playstation}

Jan 6th 2009 9:11PM >Blue dragon and Lost Odyssey helped the 360 to >have the best sales months ever in Japan.

So what??? The Xbox360 has not even sold 1 million in Japan in 3 years! And Japanese games sell much better on the PS3. That's the fact.
