Windows XP SP3 提供開始

一部プログラムとの互換性問題から延期となっていたWindows XP Service Pack 3の提供がようやく開始されました。Windows Update経由のアップデートまたはダウンロードセンターからイメージファイルのダウンロードができるようになっています。

中身は既報のとおり、MMC 3.0やMSインストーラ 3.1 v2など現在までに単独で配布されたアップデートプログラムと、VistaやWindows Server 2008で採用されたNAP (ネットワークアクセス保護)や「ブラックホールルータ検出」などネットワーク・セキュリティ関連の新機能および機能強化。詳しくはリリースノートまたは「SP3の概要」を参照してください。
