It was a quiet launch day for the new iPhone 12, which was released about a month later than usual due to the recent outbreak of infectious diseases, the Apple Store's pre-order system, and the launch event for all three carriers being held online for au only.
If you're thinking about buying the iPhone 12 from now on, it's hard to go to a store and compare each color of the iPhone, even if you want to. It's also true that the product images delivered by Apple are sometimes far removed from the actual colors and textures of the real thing.
So, in this article, I'd like to introduce the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro with many photos and my impressions of them. I was able to take the time to photograph the following five models
iPhone 12 Pro Pacific Blue
iPhone 12 Pro Graphite
iPhone 12 Blue
iPhone 12 (PRODUCT)RED
iPhone 12 Black

Comparing the Blue of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro
The standout color of the 2020 iPhone is blue, with the iPhone 12 Pro (pictured left) in Pacific Blue and the iPhone 12 in a purely blue expression in the lineup.
Both are the same blue-based color, but the body textures are very different: The iPhone 12 Pro has a frosted glass finish for a more mature look, while the iPhone 12 has a glossy glass finish.
Not red (PRODUCT)RED?
Apple's long-supported program to fight HIV/AIDS, "(PRODUCT)RED". This time, it is available as a color lineup for the iPhone 12. Even though they are given the same (PRODUCT)RED designation, each iPhone model has a slightly different finish. The 2020 model has a pink-beige finish that looks like the iPhone XR's "Coral" with a touch of red.
The austere graphite and cool black
Graphite is a particularly austere color among the iPhone 12 Pro's color options. The back of the iPhone 12 Pro is polished glass with a dull glow like that of a MacBook Pro, and the square side frames have a mirrored finish to make their presence felt.
On the other hand, the iPhone 12's black color has a beautiful shine that looks like it's been dripped with lacquer and stretched to the corners. The glossy glass back and the chic metal side frames are a perfect marriage of colors.
MagSafe Charger and iPhone Box
Apple has revitalized MagSafe, a new charging technology for the new iPhone that sticks to the back of the iPhone 12 series and charges the device through its compatible case.
Meanwhile, the earphones and USB power adapter are no longer included in the iPhone 12 series box. (The previous models sold alongside it have been converted to a package that does not include them.) The Lightning cable has changed from a USB-A connector to a USB-C connector, so if you don't have an AC charger for USB-C, you'll need to purchase one.
