日立の自律移動カメラロボ

レーザーセンサで周囲の物体を感知、自動的に地図を作製して経路を決定できる監視カメラロボを日立が開発。室内のレイアウト変更があっても柔軟に対応でき、自分の位置を把握しているため前回のカメラ画像との差を認識して警告することも可能。つまりはお掃除ロボットにカメラが付いた高級版のようなもので、一台でも死角がなく見たいところに移動させられる監視カメラとのこと。

技術的にも大変興味深いのですが、色のせいかミニマルなデザインの所為か「ロボットに改造されたミッフィー」に見えます。
