壜の中の太陽

光発電パネルと充電池、LEDでできた"Sun Jar"(太陽壜)。昼のあいだ外や窓際に置いておけば、夜には捕まえた太陽の光(で充電した電池駆動のLED)が灯ります。

デザインはTobias Wong氏。単なるコンセプトではなく、リンク先では製品版が「近日発売」されるようです。おなじコンセプトとしては幾何学的なソーラーパネル配置が美しいDamien O'Sullivanの太陽ランプもありますが、Sun Jarは壜の中に太陽を捕まえるイメージが魅力的。太陽電池のつぎは核融合モデルに期待です。
