ディスクスロットに無理やりカートリッジを詰め込まれているように見える「Nintendo Super Nii」。ご想像の通り、といってよいのか、正体はスーパーファミコン(SNES)の実機をWii型の筐体に納めたMod作品です。作者はファミコンDSやメガドライブDS、ゼルダNESなどで有名なフランスのMod職人Kotomi。

外装デザインの解釈・変換と仕上げの異常なこだわりが特徴のKotomi作品にしてはややめずらしく、このサイズに納めるためSNESの基板から大幅に手が入った大がかりな一品になっております。なぜか壁紙？も公開中。バーチャルコンソールに嬉々として追い銭を貢いでいるけれど本当は実機でも持っている、という方に良さそうです。
