SCEヨーロッパ：PS3には一台縛り特許は使いません

まさかとは思うが会社が会社だけに......と不安を呼んでいた「中古ソフト・借りたソフトを使えなくする特許」のPS3への導入について、これまでコメントを避けてきたソニーが「そんなもの誰が買うか」という声に応えてSCEヨーロッパよりコメントを発表。「PS3には一台だけでしか使えないDRMは使用しません」とのこと。誰の目にもあきらかな自殺行為は(すくなくともこの特許を使っては)しないということでとりあえず安心。

他にどのような機器でこの特許を使うのか・使わないのかという質問にはノーコメント。もちろんPS3にDRMを使わないという発表ではなく「この方式は」使わないというだけなので、実際にどんな方法を使ってくるのかはまだ不明。
