the Weight of TIme：時の重み

デザイナー Li Zijian氏作、日々軽くなってゆく日めくり部分の重さで時の経過を計るカレンダー。「奥行き」がテーマだったコクヨデザインアワード2005優勝作。

佐藤卓審査員長の講評にあるように実際にはひもの長さを調節しないといけなかったり、日めくり部分のめくり方にも何か改良が必要とはいえ、時間の重さ/軽さがアナログな秤で可視化されるのは楽しい。

日めくり部分に普通に月を書かなかったり、デジタル表示される重量計の上に日めくりを置いたりしないのが「デザイン」というものです。
