LexarからE-Inkで残量表示するUSBメモリ

Lexarから、E-Inkを使ったディスプレイで残量がわかる新ジャンプドライブ"Mercury"が登場。メモリ使用状況やファイル表示のためのディスプレイがついたUSBメモリは他にもあるものの、表示を続けるために電力を必要としない電子ペーパー技術採用でバッテリーを内蔵・充電する必要がないとのこと。

登場時期や価格はまだ不明。USBメモリならフォームファクタ的にはバッテリーも入るし給電もつなぐたびに行われるのでそれほど便利ッ！という感じはしませんが、長時間給電されないようなデバイスで利用されると面白そうですね。
