米政府、レノボPC導入前に身体検査

聯想集団ことレノボがIBMのPC部門を買ったときも米国議会は物言いを付けていましたが、このたび国務省が1万5000台のレノボPCを導入するにあたり、米中経済・保安調査委員会はなんらかのバックドアやスパイウェアが仕組まれていないか徹底的な調査を主張しているとのこと。

レノボの対応は(BBCによると)「気が済むまでどうぞ」。もしかすると全部分解してソフトも新規インストールすると一台あたりいくら業者からキックバックでもあるのかもしれませんが、国家の安全のためならレノボよりもソニーに気をつけた方がいいんじゃないでしょうか。
