Xbox 360のHDDを読み書きできるソフトXplorer360がリリースされて以来ファイルシステムやバックアップの研究がますます盛んになっている今日この頃ですが、Xbox360のHDDカートリッジを分解しなくても直接PCに接続できるSATAアダプタ(コネクタ)が登場しました。リンク先の360SATAから注文できますが、わずか15ドルの価格のせいか現在品切れ中。自作するか、あるいはどこかのいかがわしいメーカーから発売されるかもしれません。
