Wii Connect 24：スタンバイモードで常時ネット接続、ダウンロード

任天堂がプレスカンファレンスで発表したところによると、Wiiはスタンバイモードで24時間インターネットに接続、新着コンテンツのダウンロードやメッセージの受信ができるとのこと。スタンバイモードではファンも回らず消費電力は「豆電球一個程度」。

E3公開情報はリンク先任天堂ホームページに分かりやすくまとまっていてお薦めです。「その他の機能」にはさりげなく"オペラブラウザ(オプション)"の文字も。
