謎の新Segway HT-V1AがFCC入り

無線関連を仕切る米国のお役所FCC (連邦通信委員会)にて、セグウェイ Human Transporterの新製品と思われる"HT-V1A (model 2014500001)"が発見されています。

提出書類にはあまり情報がなく詳細は不明ながら、二年ほど前にコンセプトで登場した懐かしの四輪バージョンセントール(ケンタウルス)ではないようです。

問題は無線関連を届け出るFCCでSegwayが一体何をしておるのか。Bluetoothとおなじ2.4GHz帯を使うことからするとGPS携帯と連携して突っ立っているだけで目的地に運んでくれるセグウェイHTや無人操縦で部屋まで迎えに来てくれるモデルに期待してしまいますが、64bitの暗号鍵を使うというキーが無線になるだけかもしれません。
