無線でビデオを飛ばせる「iTV」2007年登場

事前の噂で「映像も飛ばせるAirTunes」とされていたものの正体はこちら「iTV」(仮称)でした。薄くしたMac mini的なデザインで、Mac / PCにある映画・音楽・写真・ポッドキャストといったコンテンツをホームシアター(とは限りませんがつまりテレビ)に接続して楽しむもの。直接Apple Remoteで操作します。この大きさでPSUも内蔵。

まだプロトタイプかつ仮称の段階ながら、キーノートで公開された情報によればUSB 2.0 / 有線LAN / 802.11無線LAN (.11何かは不明)。ポート類は光音声、アナログRCA音声、HDMI、コンポーネントビデオ。

登場は2007年Q1予定、価格は$299。
