サムスンQ1P：HSDPA搭載＆5時間駆動になったUMPC

プロセッサが変わったり32GB SSDを載せたゼロスピンドルになったりとちょくちょくアップデートしているサムスンのUMPC Q1にバッテリー駆動最大5時間・3Gデータ通信(HSDPA)対応の新モデルQ1Pが登場するとのこと。

Q1bと同様インテルではなくVIAベースになること、年内発売予定であること以外は詳細不明。内蔵オプション扱いなのか"Q1P"コンフィグの標準化は不明ですがWiBROにも対応するようです。

こちらはIFAに展示されていたもの。「オリガミ」時代の題目である$500程度で8時間駆動にはまだ遠いものの、$1000から1500程度で5時間使えるなら好事家的には「あり」かもしれません。重くて出っ張る増設バッテリーが標準になっているといった落ちでないことを祈ります。
